Eu Jun Wei graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 2020 from Nottingham Law School in the United Kingdom. Prior to completing his studies, he gained exposure to several practice areas, including Conveyancing and Property Law, Family and Matrimonial matters, and Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration. His experience includes assisting with Sales and Purchases of property, Mortgage Financing and Settlements, Divorce and Custody matters, Adoption and Guardianship applications, Will drafting, Probate applications, Letters of Administration, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. 

At Silvester Legal LLC, Jun Wei supports the firm’s civil disputes practice in both paralegal and expanded legal secretarial capacities. He assists in managing litigation matters through the preparation and filing of court documents, organisation of affidavits and hearing bundles, coordination of correspondence, and monitoring of procedural timelines. He works closely with counsel to ensure compliance with court requirements and to maintain orderly and accurate case records, particularly in matters involving extensive documentation or multiple parties. He is conversational in Mandarin and Cantonese, which enables him to communicate effectively with a wider range of clients.

Assisted the Managing Director and Partner of the Firm in a Minority Oppression Suit under Section 216 of the Companies Act (1967) in High Court whereby our Client was initially awarded over S$600,000 and following a successful appeal by the Firm, the quantum was increased to over S$2,200,000.

Assisted the Managing Director of the Firm on both uncontested and contested Family & Matrimonial Disputes including matters involving cross-border jurisdictions.

Assisted the Managing Director of the Firm in an Arbitration case involving a breach of contract, including a cross-border contract governed by Singapore Law, with a valuation of approximately S$8,000,000.

Assisted the Managing Director of the Firm in filing a Mareva Injunction in support of foreign proceedings.

Assisted the Managing Director and a Director of the Firm in a case involving an alleged Director’s breach of fiduciary duties and embezzlement, with a quantum of approximately S$5,000,000.

Assisted the Managing Director and an Associate of the Firm in resolving multiple family disputes concerning the Deceased’s Will, involving quantum amounts ranging from S$600,000 to S$3,000,000 in High Court.
