Assistive Case Experience
- Second-chaired the Director of the Firm in a High Court civil family dispute involving the bequest of assets worth over $10,000,000.
- Assisted the Managing Director and Director of the Firm in a complex shareholder oppression suit under Section 216 of the Companies Act (1967) and a concurrent action involving fraudulent misrepresentation and unlawful means conspiracy, with claims exceeding $42,000,000.
- Assisted the Managing Director and Director of the Firm in a Minority Oppression Suit under Section 216 of the Companies Act (1967) in High Court whereby our Client was initially awarded over $600,000 and following a successful appeal by the Firm, the quantum was increased to over $2,200,000.
- Assisted the Managing Director in a complex High Court trust and estate dispute involving express trusts and probate administration, with claims exceeding $4 million, arising from documents and corporate structures dating back over 40 years.
- Assisted the Managing Director of the Firm in a Winding Up suit under Section 125(1) of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018.
- Assisted the Director of the Firm in a District Court case involving the tort of battery and sexual assault.
- Assisted the Managing Director of the Firm in the amicable settlement against a judgment debt in the District Court.
- Assisted the Managing Director and Senior Associate of the Firm in an Industrial Accident with Injury Suit heard in the District Court, leading to an ideal settlement.
- Assisted the Managing Director of the Firm in a Breach of Contract suit in the Magistrate’s Court between contractors.
- Assisted the Managing Director of the Firm on both contested and uncontested Family and Matrimonial Disputes including matters involving cross-border jurisdiction.
