Appointed Director in January 2025, Akesh leads our disputes practice team at Silvester Legal, specialising in Civil and Commercial disputes, International Arbitration, Criminal Law, and Sports and Media law.
He has rapidly established himself among the region’s leading young dispute-resolution practitioners. In one notable case, he secured a favourable settlement in a S$3 million commercial dispute within two weeks. He has also handled multi-jurisdiction disputes spanning Singapore, Papua New Guinea and the British Virgin Islands, and coordinated strategy in a S$90 million SIAC arbitration involving Singapore, India, Thailand and Australia. His leadership has generated over S$1 million in billed litigation revenue within ten months.
