Lee Ming Le
Associate
LLB (Hons) – National University of Singapore
Dedicated, Pragmatic, Enthusiastic
Ming Le is a civil and commercial disputes lawyer who graduated with Second Upper-Class Honours from the National University of Singapore in 2021.
In just two years of practice, Ming has gained diverse experience across corporate disputes, family cases (including divorce and probate), and criminal matters. Much of his early exposure came from working in a sole proprietorship alongside a senior lawyer, where the lean environment demanded hands-on involvement and independent responsibilities. This unique setting allowed Ming to delve into aspects of cases that he may not have encountered in larger firms, giving him a well-rounded and practical understanding of legal work.
Notably, Ming served as second chair in a Court of Appeal matter involving declaratory relief in a non-commercial context, alongside claims for breach of confidence and breach of litigation privilege. This case, Syed Suhail bin Syed Zin and 12 Others v Attorney General [2024] SGCA 39, was a key milestone in his litigation experience.
Beyond litigation, Ming is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Asia) (CIPP/A), equipping him with in-depth knowledge of data protection laws across Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. He is actively pursuing additional certifications, including CIPP/E (Europe), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), to broaden his expertise in privacy and data protection.
At Silvester Legal, Ming brings a fresh perspective and a proactive approach to his cases. As a member of the Special Projects Team, he is focused on further honing his skills in shareholder disputes and minority oppression claims while contributing to the firm’s growth and success.
Outside of work, Ming enjoys cycling, engaging in board games, and occasionally unwinding with rhythm games at the arcade.
